If you want to store your cannabis seeds for a longer time after buying them, you must look at the best ways to store them.
Mode 1
The best way to store your cannabis seeds is to put them in a plastic string bag and close it tightly. Place the bag in a plastic food container and close it securely. The seeds thus protected should be stored in a refrigerator, where the temperature should be between 4-5 degrees Celsius. It is also good if the fridge is equipped with a moisture extraction system. If not, it would be a good idea to additionally secure the seeds, e.g. with a plastic bag. Seeds protected in this way can lie for up to two years and in most cases retain their freshness.
This is by far the best way to store seeds, which should be used whenever possible.
Mode 2
Slightly worse than the last one, but still enough. You just have to take into account that the seeds can be stored a little bit shorter.
As in the above method, close the seeds tightly in a string bag, then put the bag into a plastic container and seal tightly. The seeds secured in this way should be stored in a cool, dark and dry place. It may be a drawer or a cabinet, or even a good idea to bury them under a layer of soil several centimetres thick, which is not directly exposed to precipitation. Seeds secured in this way can lie for a year without any problems and should, to a large extent, retain their freshness.
Mode 3
Similarly as in the above examples, we put the purchased cannabis seeds into a stringed plastic bag, which we put into a plastic food container. The whole thing is tightly closed. The seeds secured in this way should be stored in a freezer where the temperature will oscillate between minus 20-25 degrees Celsius. The seeds secured in this way can lie for up to 10 years and 80% of them stay fresh. We must remember that you must not freeze or thaw seeds from time to time. Frozen once, they must survive in this state until we finally want to use them. Only then can we defrost them. After a few hours after being pulled out of the freezer, the seeds will regain their original form. Storing seeds in this way is a very good solution. We only need to remember that we have them and not forget to take them out.
