eye diseasesProblems with eyesight can also herald other problems, so it's a good idea to recognise them as soon as possible. It seems that the problems of worse vision are quite trivial, and in fact they can show us other diseases that will affect our body. So it is worth knowing a little more about occurring eye diseases.

hyperopia

hyperopiaThis is a disease in which we see badly from close up. The reason will be that our accommodating muscles are getting weaker with age and the lens will become harder and will not be able to round itself. When viewed from close up it can be as if flat so the breaking of rays will be bad. Therefore, there will be no well focused rays on the retina and the image will become blurred.

Yellow spot degeneration (AMD)

This is a problem that manifests itself in a blurred image, where the edges of objects become corrugated. There is a dark spot in the centre of the field of view, so we try to look sideways. So far, we do not have a precise diagnosis of the causes of this disease. It can attack in old age, but sometimes it appears in young people. It seems to be favoured by, among other things, disturbances in metabolism, which is why it is worth looking for solutions here.

Glaucoma

The glare will manifest itself in the fact that we will have a problem with seeing, there will be darkness, sometimes bright rims in the case of light sources. Problems with headache and adaptation to looking in dark rooms may occur. The problem is that the eyeball is over-pressurized because the production of aqueous liquid will be too high. The pressure will therefore be too high, which will lead to damage to the optic nerve. The causes of glaucoma are not fully known, but it is known that this problem is particularly acute for people over 40 years of age, so they should regularly check their eyes.

Volleyball degeneration

If there are holes in the images you see, it's a sign that the retina is not good. The causes may vary, but most often it will be age and potential causes related to genetic conditions. Sometimes the problem of retinal hypoxia may occur and weak vessels start to burst, which causes blood bleeding. Congestion or clots can also lead to loss of sight.

Diabetic retinopathy

Diabetic retinopathy is a complication after diabetes. This disease causes damage to the capillaries, followed by damage to the receptors and nerve fibres of the retina. Weakened vessels release blood and this leads to the formation of petechiae, oedemas or exudates. The altered vessels will not provide the retina with appropriate values and the stratification will appear.

Cataract (cataract)

Cataract (cataract)A cataract manifests itself in the fact that we start to see behind the fog, or we have double vision. After all, we begin to distinguish between light or dark spots, we only have a sense of light. The point is that our lens becomes cloudy. Most often it is estimated that cataract is related to the natural aging process of the body. The result is a situation where the eye becomes less flexible and even more problematic, less transparent.

Vitreous degeneration

The degeneration of the vitreous body manifests itself in a blurred image when we have fern or midges flying, which make it difficult to see. This can lead to turbidity, or to a stroke of blood into the vitreous body. If it is not absorbed it will be to the situation in which there is an obstacle in the field of vision and therefore our vision will not be appropriate. Diabetes, atherosclerosis and hypertension problems, among others, are conducive to such a disease.
