Soon you are going to the gym for the first time and you know that you have to buy the right outfit for this? The times when you were practicing in a white T-shirt and navy blue shorts are gone - we have a lot of clothes, shoes and various accessories in our stores, which will not only be comfortable and effectively carry sweat away, but will also be colorful, helping to express our personality.
First of all, it must be made of a good material, which will be both breathable and effective in removing moisture. These are special technical T-shirts, which are made of various mixtures, usually synthetic - however, this does not mean that you will sweat. You'll do more harm in a cotton T-shirt, which will soon be wet (all the more so because for some people wet spots under the armpits are the cause of great discomfort). We don't have to choose short-sleeved shirts - more and more popular are those with long, braces or heavily cut armpits. Ladies can choose from special sets, which at first mask too big belly.
Ladies who intend to exercise particularly intensively should be provided with a good quality sports bra. It will maintain the breasts and prevent their excessive movement during exercise. It is worth taking advantage of renowned sports companies - such a bra will serve for longer. It is worth mentioning that it is not advisable to use a normal bra - its shoulder straps and whalebones can hit the shoulders and underarms, moreover, they limit some movements.
Like a T-shirt, they must be made of breathable materials. Their cut is a matter of our individual preferences. You can choose from long leggings, 3/4 leggings, short knee shorts, such reaching for the buttocks and special shorts-suits. It's important to feel comfortable in them and to have a lockable padlock pocket. Also good are those that have a reinforced upper part.
Without good shoes there is no point in going to the gym or fitness. They should have adequate cushioning - otherwise we will quickly feel pain in the joints, especially in the knees. This can lead to a more serious injury. An anti-slip sole is required. In addition, they often need to be ventilated and cared for - otherwise they will be quickly mastered by the unpleasant smell. Alternatively, it is good to have normal swimming pool flaps.
Do you like black or bright colours? Maybe some motivating inscription will appear on your T-shirt or shorts? Thanks to it, every time it's hard for you, you'll be able to look in the mirror and motivate yourself for the next repetitions. In addition to standard gym clothing stores, there are plenty of brands on the Internet that will create our individual T-shirt or shorts. If we are fans of such solutions, we should necessarily use them. Such clothes will also be easier to find (you wouldn't believe how often they get lost!). At the gyms in Gdansk there are usually monitors, which in case of which will certify that the item is ours.
It is a good idea to have at least two sets of clothes per gym - especially if you use it more than twice a week. Surely we can't save on shoes - it's worth buying better, dedicated to the ground, which is located in the fitness room.
