JASKRA
This is one of those diseases that are particularly common and can affect people of virtually any age. Initially, it runs without symptoms, but if untreated, it will lead to significant damage to eyesight. Studies show that glaucoma is the most common cause of vision loss. The pressure in the eye is responsible for the glaucoma. The first symptom that will appear is a strong attack when the eye becomes strongly reddened. Symptoms of glaucoma also include foggy after awakening, dizziness, eye pain. Treatment is based on the desire to reduce the pressure in the eyeball with the use of drugs and, if necessary, by surgery. Glaucoma can be a hereditary problem, so you need to have regular examinations if you have had this problem in your family.
COMPETITION
This is another very common eye disease, which, like glaucoma, will last a long time without symptoms. The process of this disease is based on the fact that the lens becomes very cloudy and as a result there is a total loss of sight. Cataract can be divided into congenital and acquired cataract. It will most often appear after the age of 60. At the beginning of the disease the objects become blurred, there is a problem with reading, watching TV, the picture may be blurred. Acquired cataract can be a consequence of diabetes as well as eye injury. The treatment will consist of inserting an artificial lens into the eye.
CONJUNCTIVITIS
Conjunctivitis is one of the most common eye problems. The course of this disease will be heterogeneous and depends on various factors. The mucous membrane under the eyelid will be inflamed here. In such a situation, the eyes become reddened, burning, tearing or pinching them may appear. The knob will usually be heavily over-blooded. Watery or purulent secretion may appear. Inflammation can be infectious, allergic or mechanical. The treatment will be based on the use of drops and special ointments.
MACULAR DISEASE
It is a chronic disease, which occurs most often after the age of 50 and can cause sight loss in older people. Yellow spot is the part of the retina which will be responsible for distinguishing colours and details. If it is damaged, vision, sharpness or colour perception will be impaired. The first symptoms may be a reading problem. The causes of damage to this part of the retina will still not be well known. It is known that people over 50 are exposed to this problem, as well as people who smoke, have diabetes or expose their eyes to sunlight. The problem may also be related to vitamin A and E deficiencies, so they need to be supplemented in the diet.
RETINAL DETACHMENT
Retinal detachment is a problem that can occur when the retina is detached from the vascular tube, i.e. the wall of the eyeball. This problem will initially cause visual impairment, but may lead to a loss of vision. Most often there will be no pain here, so the appearance of a curtain or flashes on the eye should be treated as a symptom. The retinal detachment will often concern people over 50 years of age, people with diabetes or people born before the deadline. The risk of a problem can occur with heavy weights and physical effort. As soon as the retina peels off, a doctor's help is required immediately if sight is to be rescued.
