What kind of coffee to choose?

There are dozens of types of coffee and coffee beverages on the market. As we become more aware of the impact of good nutrition on our wellbeing and health, we increasingly choose products that come from nature. That's why it's worth knowing what kind of coffee to choose in order to preserve this naturalness.

Before coffee reaches the cup, it undergoes various processes. In the case of ground coffee, these are the two main steps: burning, grinding. Instant coffee, on the other hand, must undergo much more of these processes, e.g. it is brewed already at the production stage, which results, among other things, in its specific aroma and taste, described by specialists as "flat".

- To choose a good coffee you actually need to find a bean, because we certainly know that it is a coffee. It's best when it's made of freshly roasted seeds. Checking the expiry date is also an important aspect. The longer it is, the fresher the grain is - says Justyna Mizera, a nutritionist. - It is also important how coffee beans look like, which should be slightly greasy.

You should also not drink so called spitting coffee. - Apart from the fact that there are antioxidants and other healthy substances, unfortunately there are substances harmful to our body - explains the nutritionist.

Aromatic coffee

Those who reach for soluble coffee often choose it because of the speed of preparation and the lack of grounds. However, according to Justyna Mizera, it is not beneficial.

- The alternative often chosen by the consumer is often soluble coffee. This is where the stairs and some kind of insinuity begin because we don't know exactly what is in this coffee. Theoretically, these should be the same grains after a slightly different processing process, more processed - adds Justyna Mizera.
